FARID AFWAN TARMIZI

Farid is a litigator and handles criminal and civil litigation as well as industrial relations disputes and advisory. He has a distinctive local and international experience, having worked in Malaysia and UK legal firms.Farid was exposed to the legal world early on, being the son of a former High Court Judge of Malaya. He is now a Senior Legal Associate in the Firm.
 
Farid graduated from Mara University of Technology with an LLB(Hons) in 2013 and he was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2014. He has handled a diverse range of matters in which hegained an immense experience in almost every criminal case ranging from capital punishment offences to serious crimes. He is also actively involved with the Malaysian Bar Legal Aid programme. Adding to his credentials, Farid is also the holder of Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice with Honours.
 
His civil litigation portfolio includes handling debt recovery briefs, land matters, industrial relations disputes, shareholders disputes, construction and commercial disputes.
