KC SUZALENA SALLEH

KC Suzalena Salleh, a senior partner at Salleh Shah & Co, began her legal career since 2008 under the guidance of Dato' Jerald Gomez of Messrs Jerald Gomez & Associates, where she was trained to be a litigator. KC’s practice areas includes Civil & Criminal Litigation with specific focus on commercial law, construction & contractual disputes, employment law, security & immigrations offences, family matters, tax advisory, tortious claims and personal injuries. In addition to conducting cases in Court, KC regularly assists clients in all aspects of establishing and operating businesses. Besides advising on day-to-day matters, her areas of expertise include business acquisitions, joint ventures and internal restructurings.

 

She has published and presented legal editorials on topics such as the impact of variation clauses in construction industry, the lacunae of PAM and PWD construction contracts, jurisdictional water delimitations under international law of the sea, grey areas of horizontal and vertical restrictions in competition law, amongst others.

 

KC has advised numerous corporate and public personalities, and several public institutions on various legal matters. KC also does pro bono work for the underprivileged. In the area of the academic learning, she was amongst the top student who graduated from Mara University of Technology in 2007 and she obtained her LLM at the University of Malaya with primary focus in commercial and international law.

 

KC's legal cases and publication have been reported in numerous legal journals as well as major newspapers.
